Katie & John's dream to get married in a castle by the beach was made true once they found Forte da Cruz Castle, located in front of a beach by Lisbon's coast. The intimate ceremony was held outside on one of the hottest day of the year with stunning views over the ocean. You could hear people enjoying the beach right below. Once the sun started setting Katie and John got away in the middle of the reception for some incredibly beautiful portraits, taking advantage of the unique ocean view this venue provided. Katie's Monique L'Huillier gown was then switched for a lighter look so that she could enjoy the dance floor freely for the rest of the night.
